This debate was triggered by comments concerning the involvement, or lack of it, of developers in the council election and also strong views on both sides regarding the rezoning of South Dubbo to accommodate more residences in a medium density setting.
Mr Berry challenged Mr Shields to a live media debate and Mr Shields accepted.
The format for this discussion will be questions and responses.
Mr Berry and Mr Shields will each be able to ask up to five questions. Mr Berry as the challenger will get to ask the first question, Mr Shields the next and so on.
The respondent will have three minutes to answer a question. The questioner will then have a minute to respond.
