Participants are encouraged to dress up in period costume, walk, ride or decorate a float, as the town celebrates its 200th year on Saturday, September 23. Chariots for Charity – run by the Lions Clubs of Geurie and Wellington – is set to hit the streets again. It is a great family event with all money raised going back into community projects.
The Quota Art Competition is in full swing and entries are pouring in. Enjoy a glass of champagne, local music and viewing of some of the region’s great talent at the opening night.
Plenty of children's entertainment will be available on the day, including a petting zoo, PCYC tag laser skirmish, the snake man, Trike Adventures, and face painting.
