Funds raised from the Wellington Rugby Wax for a Wish event will be donated to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Club members Mitch Cusack, Morgan Kalsau and Simon Baxter have put their hand up to get waxed, and will be followed by a “surprise wax” on the night.
A signed ACT Brumbies jersey will be raffled on the night.
The charity round falls on the same day as the club’s home round and Ladies and Sponsors Day against the Orange Aggies.
The day will kick off at 3.15pm at Kennard Park as the Redbacks host the Aggies.
Bar facilities will be available at the game, followed by waxing and entertainment back at the 2017 major sponsor, Cow and Calf.
The club encourages those wishing to attend to get on board the night’s theme – anything hospital.
