While it may be 2020, this week the Wellington Times has taken a time warp back to the summer of 1998.

Reflecting on the year of 98 Australians took mobile music to the next level following the creation of the MP3 player.

Furbies topped childrens Christmas lists and Savage Gardens Truly Madly Deeply was a chart-topper.
