Local contractors are being invited to an information session tomorrow evening outlining the potential job opportunities available through the Bodangora wind farm project.
‘Meet the Constructor – Bodangora Wind Farm Project’ will bring together local businesses, job seekers and senior project representatives from Infigen, GE and CATCON to learn about the opportunities on the wind farm prior to construction commencement.
The event will provide businesses and job seekers the opportunity to meet key project personnel associated with the wind farm.
It will focus on a range of materials, goods and services that will need to be procured during the construction phase of the project.
GE – a digital industrial company – and Australian civil engineering construction company, CATCON, have been awarded the contract to develop and build the $236 million Bodangora wind farm. It will power up to 49,000 homes annually.
