The Monster Garage Sale will be held at 59 Gobolion Street this Saturday June 5, where the new shed is currently under construction.
Men's Shed chairman Garry Hayes said the funds raised from the garage sale will go a long way to helping complete their nearly two-year long project.
"We've just about run out of money because nearly all of our efforts have been focused on getting this place up,” he said. “We haven't been doing anywhere near as many jobs for people around town as we would like to."
The vast majority of the work on the new shed has been done by the men involved with the shed, and it is the first time a project like this has been undertaken by the local branch.
“With the new shed, we’ll be able to get right back into our projects and doing jobs to help people out, we’ll just be able to do more of them because we’ll have a much bigger and better facility.”
