Youth Week
The action for Youth Week has well and truly begun and the Youth Council has organised a range of activities in both Wellington and Dubbo that will appeal to everyone. There will be trivia competitions, mindfulness meditation, skate workshops, a basketball competition and informative programs on a range of topics from finding a job to sexual health. The Youth Council has put in a great effort this year under the guidance of Council’s Youth Development Officer Jason Yelverton and have had great support from the community as well. The week will end with the big event that many have been waiting for, the re-opening of the WestView Drive-in. There a still some tickets left for a limited number of sessions so now is your chance to relive the golden era of the drive-in for one weekend only.
