Peter Bryant won on a count back from Jon Pilling.
With the fine weather forecast for yesterday, I am sure we would have more playing this week.
Thursday only four of the usual early starters rocked up to play with Duckie (David) and Woodie (Frank) buying the Lottery tickets.
Sunday saw Diggers Day - unfortunately numbers were down but hose that played had a great day.
See you all tomorrow (providing the only day of predicted rain for the week does not come)

LADIES’ GOLF
More ladies are venturing out each Wednesday now the season has commenced.
Kathy Martin took home the honors last week with Marie Cornish runner-up.
Today we have the first Stanford and March Monthly Medal Scratch Event.
This is the last week of 8.30am for 9am start.
Committee Members, please do not forget the Meeting after golf today.
Twilight Competition
This week see's the last round for the 2016-17 Competition, Ladies you must play by Saturday as daylight savings finishes Saturday night.
For information regarding Presentation Night please contact Wendy, Tony or Chicka. Friday, May 12 has been mentioned but not confirmed.
Remember everyone must be financial for them and their partner to attend.
Saturday, April 1
Please do not forget the Board's Ladies’ and Men’s Golf Course Event Day with the Soldiers Memorial Club Sponsored Monthly Medal and Keirle's Summer Competition Final along with the Rex England Sponsored Ladies Division. The day is a "Stroke" Event.
All players MUST TEE OFF THE first by 1pm as the Greens Coring Staff will be following the last group.
The Day will finish with a Family Sausage Sizzle at the small cost of $10 per family.

Thank you to all members who assisted with their Carts for this group who have been coming to play for the week whilst enjoying their stay at the Caves Holiday Park for the past 20yrs.
Thank you also to the Ladies who provided lunch for them on Wednesday, especially Marie's "secret ingredient" sponge cake.
Lets hope everyone supports the Board's "Mixed Course Golf Event Day"

The club has 18 holes irrigated from tee to green, valley views and immaculate greens. Our course is both beautiful and testing and can be enjoyed all year round. Visitors are always welcome for a social round and players with an AGU handicap are invited to play in Saturday competition.

Eleven members took to the pool last Tuesday in our second last swim of the season.
Colin Sheridan returned to the winners circle taking out the 30 metre event being 0.09 outside his time, while Nick Knowles recovered from a heavy boot weekend to take out the 50 metre event being 0.10 outside his time.
Amy Ryan and Wayne rich combined to win the Brace Relay being 0.12 outside their time.
Xandah Edwards and Amy Ryan won the Junior Events.
Our last swim was conducted last night with details next week.
The date for Presentation Day has been set for Sunday, April 23 at Teamster Park commencing at 11am with Lunch and Presentation at 12.30pm.
Please indicate on the sheet at Tuesday BBQ your intention to attend for catering purposes.
The Dubbo Ducks have advised that they will be holding the Legacy Swim on the June long weekend instead of Hornsby at Queanbeyan.
This Carnival will be conducted on the same format as Queanbeyan, further details will be provided when received from Dubbo.
