Brydon was a late call up to trial for the hotly contested squad in late-January.
Byrdon and his family have relocated from Wellington near Newcastle where he is attending Hunter Sports High School under the Talented Sports Program for Rugby League.
He currently plays in the First Division U16s Newcastle competition with the Raymond Terrace Roosters as a second rower.
Last year he received an invited to trial in the Newcastle Knight’s Harold Matthews side.
Aaron’s mother Kayanna West said he is thrill about his selection.
“Aaron is super excited to be representing my family and my state, but also Wellington where he comes from.
“He said to me I’ll never forget where I’m from.
“Aaron is training five days a week – sometimes twice a day – to prove he’s committed to one day live his dream and play in the NRL.”
