The first stage of work includes the construction of drainage lines and pits on the western side of Nanima Crescent and Percy Street between Warne and Maughan streets.
“The movement of traffic will not be impacted by these works but the location will include the two pedestrian crossings on Nanima Crescent,” Dubbo Regional Council Director Technical Services Ian Bailey said.
“Access to pedestrian crossings will be maintained at all times however temporary materials may be used in the usual travel path for pedestrians.”
“At times of construction Council staff will be able to give guidance to pedestrians in doubt.”
“A traffic management plan will be in place for the movement of trucks during this period.”
“Stage one of the beautification project will take about six weeks to complete. Further stages will include the replacement of kerb and guttering between Maughan and Warne streets, replacement of the footpath adjacent to Cameron Park, the planting of ornamental trees on the Western side of Nanima Crescent, replacement of street furniture and linemarking of traffic and bike lanes.”
