Wednesday Bowls: Twenty bowlers competed Wednesday in the Jackpot Pairs. Winners on the day were Mo Clare and Mick Buttsworth who defeated Frank Gersbach and Scott Reid 22–12. Runners up were Glenn Porter and Barry Smith who defeated Jason Cornish and Rob Harvey 28–18.

Other results, Ray Gersbach and Dave Stace defeated Ross Pharo and Ron Oxenham 16–15, Don Graham and Bill Meharg defeated Greg Whiteman and Richard Carpenter 21–10, Charlie Morley and Kevin Stanley defeated Allan Manning and Peter Baker 21 – 20.
Raffle winner were Ron Oxenham. Jackpot now stands at $200. Jackpot Bowls are on again today (Wednesday) names in by 1pm for 1.30pm start. Tuesday night business house. This Competition commenced last night and the results will be printed next week.

Men’s Triples: The Final of this Championship Match will be played on Sunday, November 13 with a 1pm start.
2016 Club Challenge: The Men’s Blue Division played Dubbo Railway last Saturday with the following results:
Singles: Barry Smith defeated Ted Mortimer 25 – 15.
Pairs: Brian Charlton and Rob Harvey defeated Dean Collins and Ray Cross 22 – 18.
Triples: Allan Manning, Ron Oxenham and Bill Meharg lost to Geoff Kent, Rob Storch and Eric Chamberlain 16 – 21. Wellington won 4 - 2.
Thanks again to Dave Stace for marking the Singles. The Mixed Bronze Division team had the bye. Next weekend the Men’s Blue play West Dubbo on Saturday at 1pm in Dubbo while the Mixed Bronze play West Dubbo on Sunday at 1pm in Wellington.
Friday Night: Music by local artists and bistro from 6pm. Meat and voucher Raffles from 6pm drawn 7pm. Members Badge Draw worth $500 drawn 7.30pm–8pm
Wellington Ladies’ Bowls
Results of the Social Bowls played last Thursday, October 20 were, Winners: Dot Blackburn, Robyn Hinton, Soo Halliwell. Runners-up on a count back were: Francis Cookson, Dot Heath, Rose Davis
Raffle winner, Betty Dunstan. Results of Gala Day to be published next week. Consistency matches will commence next Saturday, November 5 at 1pm.
Darts
Wellington Hotel Darts Challenge competition has come to an end. Committee and all the dart players would like to thank Terry and Teressa and Andrew and Jade for all there support with both competitions and the many championships that were played over the year. The presentation will be on December 11 at 12pm. The Shield Grand-Final was a close affair with the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club Sharks showing a big improvement from the Semi-Final which the Wellington Hotel DV8's won easily, in this match it was a lot closer needing the teams game to decide the winner.
Doubles results: Eugene Spicet-Warren Carey defeated Allan Brown-Stellan Hudson 2-0 and Rob Crowe-Lea Sutton lost to Alf Wilson-Zac West 1-2.
Singles results: Allan Brown defeated Rob Crowe 2-1, Alf Wilson defeated Warren Carey 2-0, Eugene Spicer defeated Zac West 2-1 and Greg Whiteman defeated Stellan Hudson 2-1.
The team games was close with both teams having there chances but in the end Greg Whiteman calmly hit the winning double giving the Wellington Hotel DV8's four games to three victory and the double for the year with the Shield win in the Winter competition.
The Cup Grand-Final in the Wellington Hotel Darts Challenge saw the battle between the Federal Hotel Funder Cats who were very confident going into this match against the Wellington Hotel Oldzhiemers who went into the match with four players which is a very rare thing for them.
Doubles results: Scott Reid-Carolyn Temessl lost to David Wilson-Parish Petrovic 3-9 and Dave Stace-Peter Baker defeated Garth Watts-Terry Leonard 2-1.
Singles results: Dave Stace defeated Terry Leonard 2-0, Carolyn Temessl lost to David Wilson 0-2, Peter Baker lost to Garth Watts 0-2 and Scott Reid defeated Parish Petrovic 2-0. The teams game was needed to separate the teams with the Federal Hotel Funder Cats taking there chance at the double giving them the win by the barest of margins four games to three and take the Cup to the Federal Hotel.
High scores for the night were: Garth Watts 138, 125, 3x80's, Rob Crowe 116, 3x100, 4x80's, Alf Wilson 112, 3x100, 2x80's, Stellan Hudson 112, 90, David Wilson 100, 95, 3x80's, Allan Brown 100, 4x80's, Greg Whiteman 96, Scott Reid 95, 83, Parish Petrovic 82, 83, Dave Stace 92, 80, Eugene Spicer 5x80's, Lea Sutton 5x80's, Peter Baker 2x80's.
Darts will be played at Mudgee on November 26 with names to be in by 10am, $5 for the day. Darts for CANCER this Sunday at the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club and many thanks to them for there support, all names at 11am for an 11.30am start. $5 donation. Plenty of prizes available and many thanks to Coles,Woolworths, McDonald's, KFC, Repco, Quains and many supporters of this guest cause.

Wellington Golf
The Thursday twilight golf competition played round three last week. This week round four being played and the winner of round three with a 32 off the stick which gave him a 28 nett was James Cusack. Come out and join the competition, it costs $40 to join and you have until Christmas to pay. Raffle winner last week was won Matt Redfern.
Wellington Golf Club had a ton of golfers on the course last weekend with a Individual Stroke played on Saturday and on Sunday the Wellington Golf Clubs Par 3 Championships were played and kindly sponsored by Wellington Mowers and Chainsaws and all involved thank them very much for their support.
The KEIRLE'S Pharmacy summer competition is coming up, sheet have been placed on the notice board and it will close very shortly soon.
Wellington Golf Clubs A, B and C Grade Club Championships will be played on November 5, 6, 12 and 13 and many thanks to Ruth and Col Arnold for there sponsorship of this event. The Matchplay Championships which are sponsored by Harold Baker Bookmaking will be played after the Club Championships have concluded.
Semi-Finals of the Kiss Trophy have been played with Rod McMahan and Liam Brien defeating Barry Jeffrey and Rod Irwin and the Semi-Final was won by Garth Watts and Kevin Reid.
The Final of the Kiss Trophy was taken out by Rod McMahan and Liam Brien who hung in early and what for Kevin Ried and Garth Watts to falter and they did giving Rod and Liam a 3/2 victory and congratulations to the winners. Thank you to the Kiss Family on there support for many years. The Semi-Final of the Cornish Trophy will be played with Garth Watts taking on Rodney Cunynghame with the winner to take on Neil Hollow.
Saturday winner was Reid Armstrong who scored 39 points. Runner up with 37 points was James Cusack who also had an eagle on the seven hole.
Ball competition winners were Reid Armstrong 39 points, James Cusack 37, Wayne Lang and David Naveau 36 points, Fletcher Ivey, Doug Ney and Luke Milgate 35 points.
Ron Stubberfield Toyota Terrific tee shot on the third Doug Ney, on the eighth Garth Watts, on the 14th Mac Harvey 11.1mts, on the 16th Norm Royal.
Gersbach Mechanical nearest the pin in two shots on the fourth hole was won by Robett Baker. McDonald's biggest whack in A grade went to Luke Milgate and in B Grade it was James Drew. Brent's NFI award went to Rod Irwin who also hid his score.
