Its under-14s team claimed the premiership in the Dubbo and District Junior League competition after being undefeated all year.
The under-16s also made the grand final and put in a fight right to the end to become the runners-up to St John’s, 22-12.
Wellington Cowboys Junior Rugby League Club president Graham 'Nooty' Blackhall said 2016 had marked many significant achievements and was looking forward to a big year in 2017.
The club would welcome any new players and volunteers.
Its annual general meeting will be held on October 13.
“These young men have commenced their journey as champions,” Mr Blackhall said.
“The legacy of producing great rugby league stars continues.”
