The winter sports have all hung up their gear now, so why not get your cricket gear ready for another fabulous summer commencing on Saturday 8th October 8 for seniors and October 15 for juniors.
Stage 1 of Cobbora funding is nearly completed at Rygate Park with resurfacing, new lighting and Pioneer Park out of action till Christmas due to flooding, the opportunity exists for some day/night games to make for some different cricket.
A Registration/Gala afternoon is being held at Wellington Public School from 3 to 5pm on Friday.
Cricket NSW far west development officer Matt Ellis will be in attendance and while he is taking the youngsters the parents can be filling out the forms with Loren Douglas at the front of the hall.

Saturday October 8th from 1pm at Rygate - If you miss this Friday we will be holding another opportunity, but if intend playing U12s or 16s we need to have your names by Friday as these Ttams play in the Dubbo & District Junior Competition and the draw is being done in the holidays.
A Milo In2 Cricktet and T20 Blast Centre is also going to be run this season but the days will vary depending on the 12s and 16s draw.
At this stage will either be Tuesday or Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings. Registrations are also being taken on Friday.

Congratulations also to Bianca Douglas on being selected in the Western Zone Female u18s team for Country Championships next week.
Macquarie Valley Cricket Council 12s,14s &16s trials are being held in Dubbo on Sunday October 9, Marie will be in touch with those the association thinks should go.
Another meeting is being planned before the long weekend to decide some formats for the season's Federal Hotel sponsored T20 Competition.
Team contacts will be advised what day or night was acceptable by everyone.
All team delegates and junior parents are asked to be in attendance.
The senior representative squad is once again in the safe hands of Brad Johnson ad Nick Cosier, so if you have not advised them you wished to considered, please contact asap.
Their first game is the Cricket NSW McDonalds Plate KO against Blue Mountains at Rygate on October 23 then possibly their deferred Brewery Shield game against Dubbo drawn the same day as KO.
