The team went down to Way Too Cool from Orange in the senior netball A grade division.
A total of 510 competitors from Molong, Cumnock, Orange, Wellington, Blayney, Parkes, Millthorpe, Mudgee, Lithgow and Forbes took part.
More than 1000 people attended the day as the population of the village of Cumnock quadrupled.
Wellington sent four soccer teams and two netball teams to the competition.
After a number of years of wet and freezing cold Cumnock carnivals, it was blue skies and sunshine - the perfect weather for the 50th year running the Cumnock Soccer and Netball Carnival.
Organiser Sal Morse said the carnival was a fundraiser held to keep the Cumnock school bus on the road.
