Tremain secured back-to-back five-fors with a haul of 5-47 from nine overs in the rain-affected clash against the NPS.
NPS, more of a development squad and underdogs in the match, still managed to win Tuesday’s match by five runs.
Tremain was again particularly destructive against the middle order and collected three wickets in five balls at one stage during his second spell.
The former Western Zone speedster knocked over man of the match Hilton Cartwright (81) and Australian international Sean Abbott (44) as well as three other key scalps.
The performance was a follow-up to the 5-25 Tremain took against India A on Sunday. Australia A play South Africa A on Saturday.
