Wellington will be coming off the back off a much improved draw against Narromine while CYMS were almost upset by Nyngan at Larkin Oval on Saturday.
CYMS won the match 8-7 after being down 7-6 at the break. Wellington should have some of its key players returning despite having a year which is forgettable.
But the performance against Narromine Stanley says is proof his side can be competitive.
CYMS coach Tim Ryan says despite the narrow victory his side can only get better and thats warning to the Cowboys.
Last time the pair met CYMS won 58 nil and coaching staff said the club was in a rebuilding phase and asked fans to be patient.
The Under 18’s continue to be the form side having only lost once this year. They were beaten by Forbes but bounced straight back against Narromine.
Key players will also return from injury for Sunday’s juniors game.
The women’s tag league side is also playing well another win against Narromine has placed them in a strong position for the finals.
Matches begin at 11am at Kennard park. Cowboys play against at home the week after.
