The Parkes Spacemen have outplayed Wellington winning 32-6 in their Group 11 rugby league match at Jock Colley field. The Cowboys were in the match for about 60 minutes but fell away at the end.

Parkes opened the scoring after 3 minutes lock Anthony Redfern skirting to the left gaps were already opening in the Cowboys.
The Spacemen took only eight minutes to go over again full back Alex Prout slipping through and the home side led 12-0.
Wellington pressured but Parkes were finding spaces in the middle of the ruck and led 16-0 when full back Sam Dwyer went on the outside off a super pass.
Wellington scored before the break forward Jordan Stanley getting across on a bunched left edge and it was 16-6 at half time.
The second half tightened up and defence became a premium in cold temperatures. It took Parkes twenty minutes to break away and full back Sam Dwyer stepped onto the left to easily beat defenders.
In the 75th minute : Ethan McKeller raced over on the right for Cameron Standen to convert.and just before full time the Spacemen were in again replacement Epi Sadrodo stepped wonderfully to outpace the defence and in the end Parkes were too good 32-6.
In the Under 18’s the undefeated Wellington Cowboys had a major scare downing Parkes 26-16, the reserve grade was easy for the Spacemen 48-22, the women’s tag league match 28-10 to Parkes.
