The 4 year olds also sang and performed a poem. Early learning programme coordinator Ann Edwards said the children loved the experience.
‘’It was fun for them and they read a poem they will doing at the Eisteddfod in July.’’ she said.
Inmates from the Wellington Correctional centre are also supporting the aged care facility. They have made knitting squares for the community at Maranatha.
It is part of the Smoking Cessation Knitting Programme. It is a positive programme to help keep inmates minds off cigarettes but also prisoners wanted to donate to the community.
