Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash west of Cobar yesterday.

About 4pm on Thursday police and emergency services were called to the Barrier Highway; about 110km from Cobar after a blue Toyota RAV4 SUV left the road and rolled.
A 25-year-old woman was driving the car and travelling with her 19-month old son and six-month old daughter.
The woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for a laceration to her forehead and injury to her hips and her daughter sustained minor bruising to her head.
Both were conveyed to Cobar Hospital where they remain in a stable condition.
The 19-month old boy died at the scene.
A crime scene was established and officers from Darling River Local Area Command and the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and preparing a report for the information of the Coroner.
Meanwhile, Police from Canobolas Local Area Command have located a woman who went missing from Orange earlier this week.
The 35-year-old was last seen at 1.20am on Monday on Leura Road, Orange.
About 10.30am onThursday 5 May 2016), the woman was located safe and well in Lewis Ponds.
