New golfing Members are invited to join the Wellington Golf Club from now and pay only $580, which covers you from now until the end of July 2017, all enquires, can be handled by ringing the Wellington Golf Club on 68452130.
There will be no increase in membership fee`s at the Wellington Golf Club for the year of 2016-17, so all members can pay there fee`s at any time from now or until the end of June thank you.
All players now have till this Saturday to get there teams in for the Cornish Trophy with a draw to be done that night.

The winner from last Saturday`s Individual Stableford on a count back was David French who put together a great round of golf and he finished with 41pts.
Runner up last Saturday and on the same points was the unlucky Mac Harvey who on any other day probably would have won, his final score was 41pts.

Ron Stubberfeild Toyota Terrific Tee shot on the 3rd Malcolm Payne, on the 8th Jim Armstrong, on the 14th Bernard Smith, on the 16th Rodney Cunynghame.
Gersbach Mechanical nearest the pin in 2 shots on the 15th was won by Gary McCarroll who put his 2nd shot only 1.2mts away from the hole.
McDonald’s biggest whack in A grade went to Neil Hollow and in B grade it was Jim Armstrong.
Brent`s N’F’I award winner from last Saturday`s golf was Malcolm Payne who stayed around to collect his prize but there were plenty of other worst off than him with Liam Brien, Craig Brien, Paul Hannelly, Damian Bell, Bob Watts, Bill Bright and Lewis Payne all having less than 28pts.
