With one eye on the huge $400,000 prizemoney pool on offer at Royal Randwick after Something Borrowed stormed to a half-length win in the championship qualifier at Dubbo, Stanley says his best hope of kicking the weekend off with a win is Street Express in the three-year-old maiden.

"The little horse I've got in the first, I've taken the blinkers off him so we'll see how he goes," Stanley said.

"He ran a good race for me last start (a sixth in Dubbo on March 20). Distance might be an issue but we'll see."

Friday's TAB meeting at Towac Park is being viewed as an warm-up for the $50,000 Atlas Copco Orange Cup on April 8 and with a strong stable at his disposal, Stanley said there was one mare, albeit a rough hope, he thinks might be up to the standard of the Racing Orange benchmark.

"I haven't got anything as yet lined up for next week but you never know what happens. Nothin' Like Cash is a good little horse and I've only had her for one start, and she ran second in Dubbo," Stanley said, Nothin' Like Cash set to run in the maiden handicap over 1150m at Towac on Friday.

"She's back at her home track now, so whether that's a good thing or not, I'm not sure, but we'll see how she goes."

Stanley also has Ponselle, Gillie Mooch, Wickedest and Lady Glycks running at Racing Orange headquarters on Friday, with Country Championship hoop Aaron Bullock teaming up with Stanley in the first after being booked for the ride Street Express.

Turning his attention to Saturday, Stanley said Something Borrowed was an outside chance in the strong calibre Country Championships final.

"He's a tough horse and he'll give 100 per cent. Whether he's up to that class or not, I'm not sure but we're about to find out. He's done everything right so far. It's a great field," he added.

Racing Orange's eight race program, TAB meeting on Friday jumps at 1.10pm with the three-year-old maiden plate (1150m).
