Father and son Andrew and Will Martel recorded 75 millimetres of rain last week, an amount they're thrilled about.

The Martels farm and graze their main property, "Muronbung Park", Gollan via Wellington, and lease additional country nearby called "Tallawonga".
The rain, most of which fell during storms on Wednesday and Saturday, topped their monthly total up to 140mm. They also had good rain in December.
"We expected it to be dry during January, but that wasn't the case at all - our sub-soil moisture profile is full and the fallows are ready to go," Will said.
Yet, while the country looked "great", Mr Martel remained cautious about the year ahead.
"We understand it takes more than a month of good rain to have a successful year, but it's a great start," he said.
"Ideally we'll need more in autumn when our winter crops go in."
