Today, along with Stuart Town, they will be heading into Wellington to take part in the NSW Health's "Souths Cares Oral Health Day".
The Souths Cares is a road show that is visiting a number of rural centres to promote the importance of good oral hygiene and to offer the students the opportunity to participate in a rugby league clinic conducted by the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
On Tuesday the students will be treated to a special performance by the fabulous Manly High School Band, which has hit the road to tour and show off its wonderful skills.
On Wednesday the primary class heads to Canowindra to visit the Age of Fishes Museum.
As quoted from its website
"Imagine a world ruled by fish!
"Long before dinosaurs roamed the Earth, the mighty rivers of the central west teemed with bizarre ancient fishes - armoured fishes, fishes with lungs, and some huge predators with jaws like crocodiles.
Thousands of their fossils have been found at Canowindra and give us a unique glimpse into life during the Devonian Period - the Age of Fishes".
On Friday the students will continue their long-time tradition, and head to Bellhaven and Maranatha House to visit the residents.
There are a number of former Mumbil residents at the homes and I know both the students and residents look forward to this visit.
I continue to say it, and will do so again, there is no better place to live than in one of our fabulous villages.
Until next week,
Councillor Marcus Hanney
