The Under 12's played Newtown at Jubilee in the second-
innings. We went into bat first. Harry Broome (7) held the crease and batted-
for 10 overs which gave Max Mason (4) and Shep Taylor (1) some time to develop their confidence with-
the bat. Artie Taylor scored well with a 64 not out. This left us with a total-
of 186 and ready to field. Our commitment to training has meant that our-
bowling is improving. The main wicket taker was Noah Brien with 2/18. Kimmy-
Trappett, Isaiah Hill, Nate Bradford and Max Mason came home with a wicket-
each. The hosts finished with 145 runs. A very successful win for the Under-
12's. This weekend sees the team play at Pioneer. See you there at 8am.-
