The club will be holding an in-house fishing competition at Burrendong Dam on October 24 and 25th.
There will be prizes for all fish species except cod, as you all should know it's cod breeding season and it is illegal to keep any.
Sign up will be at the Lion of Waterloo between 6 and 7.30pm on the Friday night.
Presentation will be held a the Cow & Calf on the Sunday and all photos must be in by 4pm.
There will be campers and a barbecue up near the phone box across from the kiosk just like last year and everyone is welcome to enjoy the night by having a few beers and telling a few yarns.
At present the club is running a raffle to be drawn on November 6.
If you would like tickets please see Jackie Tierney. For those who have already got tickets, please get them back to Jackie or someone on the committee before that date.
Prizes include a 47lt ARB Car Fridge/Freezer, nine LED Driving Lights donated by Central West Auto Electrics, 70Lt Waeco Ice Box and a Mechpro 12v Battery jumpstart donated by Jared Wykes Electrical.
The club has got specially-made lures for the members to try at a cost of $15 if you are interested in purchasing one.
Our Christmas party and Ponto Falls Competition will be held during the weekend of December 5. There will be great prizes in the fishing department and by just being a part of the Christmas Party.
Please remember you must be present and financial to win any of these prizes.
There will be more information on this event closer to the date.
Hope to see everyone at these events for a good time.
The club holds its meeting on the third Thursday of each month and anyone is welcome to attend and voice their opinions or share their ideas.
