The Junior Cowboys demonstrate amazing efforts with not being the biggest team, but playing the biggest game from their hearts.
The performance display by the 13s and 16s was very highly-commended in their games last Saturday.
Unfortunately, the 16s were down in the dying minutes of the match, but a great performance and bravery shown by all players who wore the jersey with pride.
Mack and Mason Dutfield, James Darney, Brock Naden and others had taken the ball forward with stronger smarter football. Wallace Bruce, Tim Boney, Tristtan Thompson and others put inamazing footwork on an opposition that easy had the bigger team. Judge them not by their mistakes, but by the leadership and desire.
One of the hardest parts of life is deciding whether to walk away or try harder. Good players inspire themselves, great players inspire each other. The 13s had demonstrated some of the above saying with showing their ability by winning their game, 40-8 and moving onto the next round of finals. Great performance by all players such as Jayden Stubbs, Mason Humphries, Mitch Wilson, Elijah Colliss, Rylee Blackhall, Deakin Flick and many others who have not been the strongest, may not have been the fastest, but they have tried their hardest. Parents, relatives and spectators can be truly proud of those champion kids that are really loving and enjoying the game.
The 2015 Wellington Junior Cowboys season is coming to an end and from the smiles from all the kids' faces they seemed to have enjoyed it.
