Hopefully numbers will improve this week with the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club Monthly Medal being played.
Congratulations on the Wellington Golf Club Ladies' Pennants team for making the final with a great effort.
This match will be played at West Wyalong against Grenfell Golf Club on September 17.
The following golfers will be representing the club. Denise Haesler, Kathy Martin, Gai Drew, Cheryl Royal and Jan Payne. All at the Wellington Golf Club are behind you and here's hoping you bring the pennant home.

Last Saturday's events were an Individual Stableford plus Round 4 of the Barmen Trophy. Kevin Athanasiou kindly sponsored of the day.
This Saturday's events are the September Monthly Medals in A and B Grades, Round 10 of the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club Pointscore and Round 10 of the John Gersbach Putting competition. The Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club kindly sponsoring the days golf.
In the final of the Kiss Trophy Mitchell Cusack will play John Donnelly on a date yet to be decided.
Winner from last Saturday's golf was David Ryan, who put together a great round of golf on a very tricky course with his final score being 40pts.
Runner-up on a countback was Luke Milgate who tried hard all day to finish with 38pts.
Ball competition winners were David Ryan 40pts, Luke Milgate 38pts, Norm Royal 38pts, Peter Payne 37pts, Garth Watts 37pts and Lewis McCarthy 36pts.
Ron Stubberfield Toyota Terrific Tee Shot on the third Mac Harvey, on the eighth Rod Irwin, on the 14th John Gersbach and on the 16th Peter Payne.
McCarthy-Staggs Tiling nearest the pin in 3 shots on the 18th hole went to Steven McCarroll and didn't the boys know about it.
McDonald's Biggest Whack in A Grade went to Josh Bullock and in B Grade, Luke Milgate.
Brents NFI award winner last week was Robert Baker who finished with the low score of 27pts which was a bit different from the previous week.
Col Arnold has taken over the sponsorship of the Wellington Club Golf Championships this year and many thanks to him from the committee and all the golf players in the club.
Top 5 in the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club Pointscore after nine rounds is Garth Watts with 172pts, Luke Milgate 149pts, James Cusack 146pts, Geoff Walker 142pts and Gary Cusack 136pts.
Top 5 in the Maurie Lay Memorial Pointscore sponsored by Twin Rivers Printing and the President's Pointscore is David Naveau 947pts, Geoff Walker 888pts, Steven McCarroll 884pts, Peter Payne 850pts and Paul Hannelly 846pts.

Top 5 in the Barmen Trophy with best four rounds counting to find the winner is Gary Cusack 110pts, Gary Holding 101pts, Peter Payne 100pts, Robert Baker 98pts and Brian Kiss 97pts.
Handicap changes after last week's golf saw Norm Royal go from 16 to 15 and Josh Bullock go from 9 to 8.
