A 54-year-old Wellington woman, who allegedly assaulted a nurse, has been arrested after failing to appear in court.
The woman was wanted over several charges. She has been refused bail.
Officers have charged the woman with common assault, resisting arrest, the assault of a police officer and offensive language.
Police, in several raids on people wanted by them, arrested a 19-year-old man for revocation of a parole warrant.
Police say they found the man hiding in a house.
He was wanted for stealing a motor vehicle, speed manner dangerous, break and enter and robbery in company. He was also remanded in custody.
A 31-year-old man was also arrested for a conviction warrant.
He was avoiding police over the breaking of an apprehended violence order and also intimidation. He is also in custody.
Police have also arrested an inmate who was found to have a mobile phone inside the correctional centre.
When detected at the jail with the phone, the man had it on his person.
