The Love Me Like You Do singer is currently enjoying a break in Ibiza with boyfriend Dougie Poynter and a group of friends, but a series of photos of the group published on Monday have prompted her to set the record straight about what it is like to go on holiday when you're a celebrity.
"'Flaunting' my 'bikini body' aka in a private villa and photographers with long lenses are hiding up in the trees," Goulding tweeted on Tuesday, making reference to the publication of paparazzi shots of the group by a number of British tabloids.

In particular, the 28-year-old appears to have drawn attention to the publication of the photos by the Daily Express on Monday, which were accompanied by the headline, "Ellie Goulding flaunts her toned figure in bikini as she packs on PDA with Dougie Poynter".
The Daily Mail also published the pictures, which show Goulding and her friends relaxing by the pool on the grounds of their private villa.
Several of the pictures show Goulding and Poynter kissing and holding hands.
Goulding's tweet attracted some high-profile attention, with friend Taylor Swift showing her support by favouriting it.
Although she is angry about her privacy being invaded, Goulding has happily shared select snapshots from her holiday with her fans on Instagram.
On Monday night she shared a picture of herself enjoying a casual meal with Poynter with the caption: "A practically lying down dinner is always welcome."

Goulding has been dating Poynter, a member of English pop rock band McFly, for more than a year.
Speaking to Women's Health in May, fitness fan Goulding revealed that the couple often go to the gym together.
"Training with him and the other guys [in McFly] is fun – it's not hard," she said.
Despite the two both being big names in their native Britain, Goulding said they tried to live a relatively grounded life.
"When I'm with him, I'm just his girlfriend, nothing else."
