The infants and the primary classes entered a play each. The infants got a third place in their section and the primary got first!
Mumbil School was also informed that the primary class was also awarded "Best Drama Performance - Group" and will now appear at the Eisteddfod's grand concert on August 15.
Well done to the Infants teacher Kristy Rich and to Shannan Hanney who directed the primary class on an amazing effort.
I hear, but am not surprised, that the quality of all the performers is extremely high and to have Mumbil School come out on top is an amazing effort and is a credit to staff and the students. I haven't seen the play yet, but am really looking forwarded to seeing it at the grand concert.

Mumbil-Stuart Town CWA's international day is just around the corner, and the award winning students of Mumbil School will be once again play a pivotal part.
Together with the students of Stuart Town school, the students enter projects as well as perform on the day. Hopefully the students from Mumbil School can perform their play?
I know a lot of work is being put into the day from the CWA ladies and it promises to be a great event.
Of course the country of study this year is Italy.
Until next week,
Councillor Marcus Hanney
