Its a crucial game just two weeks before the Tooheys Group 11 semi finals begin.
Cowboys secretary Ray Fabar says forwards Ben McGregor and Rian Humphries will not play along with winger Ethan Ryan who is suspended but half back Joey Williams will be back.
‘’Its still a strong side but we are stressing to players to come to training on Friday night so we can organize our team travel to Cobar. We have to win to ensure all three grades get semi final berths,’’
The Wellington side had big wins in the Under 18’s and first grade last time they met but Sunday at Cobar the Cowboys expect the situation to be a lot different.
‘’It is the last game of the year for the Roosters at home so they intend to finish the season for their fans much better than how they started so we recognize they want to do maximum damage on us before seasons end.’’ Mr Fabar said.
Half Joey Williams makes a return after the victory over Forbes. Wellington go into the main match as winners of their last few games and while Dubbo Westside is waiting next week at Kennard this game could be a ‘game changer’ for the Cowboys.
The first grade line up is:
1 Norm West, 2 Daniel Ahsee, 3 Brayden Peachey, 4 Warren Peachey, 5 Kiyan Shaw, 6 Steve Riley, 7 Joe Williams, 8 Nathan Smith, 9 Trent Forrest, 10 Ken Everson, 11 Justin Toomey White (c/c), 12 Ben Bruce, 13 Lewis Stanley( reserves to be named - team subject to change)
