Craig Alford is taking Australia 'On A Ride To the Other Side'.He and other Rotarians from Western Australia are trekking across the country. Mr Alford on a lawnmower.''People see me on a lawn mower and say what the heck!!!!. It was something different we thought up to attract minds'' He is delving into the darkest depths of the mind mental health, raising awareness and funds.''I have a number of friends who have taken their lives and others are who battling with mental health issues. Experts say mental health and depression will the number one disease in the not to distance future,''The group who were in Wellington to catch up with local rotarians are also supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service.Wellington's Rotary president Greg Wykes and committeeman Jamie Gersbach said they were proud to back the men and women from Western Australia.''These are important issues which we feel deeply about. It was great to have them here. They are a great bunch of people doing great things.'' Mr Wykes said.
