The wife of a man questioned over the disappearance of toddler William Tyrrell will stand by his side when he makes an expected bid for freedom, following his arrest for a number of alleged historical child sex offences.

Whitegoods repairman Bill Spedding, 63, has been in jail since his arrest in April but his matter is listed for a bail application before the NSW Supreme Court on Monday, June 15.
Fairfax Media understands his wife Margaret Spedding intends to travel to Sydney to support her husband who will appear via video link.
She has been visiting him once a week at Cessnock maximum security prison after he was arrested for the alleged sexual assault of two girls, aged three and six, in the 1980s.
A relative told Fairfax Media that Mr Spedding appeared to be in good spirits and was hopeful he would be released from jail to "sort his life out".
Homicide detectives have repeatedly questioned Mr Spedding over the suspected abduction of three-year-old William and searched his Bonny Hills home and Laurieton office in late January.
William was wearing a Spider-Man suit when he vanished from his grandmother's yard at Kendall on the state's mid north coast last September.
Police have named Mr Spedding as "a person of interest" and said he is one of many lines of inquiry they are chasing.
In an unusual move, officers investigating the suspected abduction arrested Mr Spedding on unrelated child sex offences on April 22.
He was charged with five counts of sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 10 years, and two counts of common assault.
It is alleged he sexually assaulted two girls in a caravan parked at a Campbelltown property in 1987.
Solicitor Rob Hoyles said he had applied for bail on the basis his client had no criminal history, had strong community ties and intended to plead not guilty.
Legal Aid NSW's Port Macquarie acting solicitor in charge said his client could live at a local residence and not enter Sydney.
Mr Hoyles also said his client had $30,000 in a property that could be offered as surety.
Magistrate Thomas Hodgson refused Mr Spedding bail in Port Macquarie Local Court on April 23.
The fresh bail application was lodged the day after on April 24, according to a NSW Supreme Court spokeswoman.
Police have repeatedly said Mr Spedding was one of many "lines of inquiry" they were pursuing. They said are they will continue to search for William and to discover what happened to him.
