Council helped the group make the move and they are now at their new historic home until December.
President Ruth Haynes said she was thrilled and that the central location would be a chance to showcase the talent Wellington has to offer.
She said it was exciting that it made various disciplines of craft so accessible to the community.
"Craft brings people together and helps them share their skills," she said.
It was a busy time for the move with the annual visit from Dubbo and Wongarbon craft enthusiasts.
The group holds courses on everything from lead-lighting to hat making.
