Our president Bob and the board would like pass on to members and non who contributed, and volunteered time on Monday last week for all your efforts and contributions these were very greatly appreciated thankyou.
Wednesday Bowls the winners were Greg Whiteman, Richard Carpenter defeated Charlie Morley, Jack Charlton 23 -10.
Runners-up were Scott Read, Bob Wilson defeated Don Graham, Gary King 24 -14.
Ray Gersbach, Allen Manning defeated Mo Clare, Ron Oxenham 16- 14.
Jack Collard, Michael Buttsworth defeated Keith O'Grady, Brian Howie 18-12.
Pat Cassidy, Terry Dray had a draw with Dave Stace, Bill Meharg 17 - 17.
Raffle Winner was Richard Carpenter.
Club Singles Challenge was played and won by Gary King winning 31 - 22 against Jason Cornish.
Pennants.
On Sunday we played Dubbo Railway in the Pennants at Dubbo we came away with a 68 - 48 win.
Richard Carpenter's side had a hard fought 17 all draw.
Bob Wilson's side were down 8 -2 early and came back to lead 12 - 11 on the 10 end they were never headed after that running out winners 23 - 16.
Terry Dray's side was on the job all day and they didn't let railway get into the game from after the 10th end the boys were on fire and to add insult to injury Skip Tippy played a blinder on the last end picking up three shots putting the boot right in, and his team ran out winners 28 - 15.
An honourable mention goes to our rookie lead Jason Cornish in only his third competition game he played an outstanding game along with all the team who gave great support.

As the results from the weekend haven't been released as yet I cannot tell you if Wellington have any chance of going through as this will depend on a few variables over this coming weekend but why not come along and support the Pennant players I know they certainly would appreciate it as they go to other clubs and get bombarded by the opposition club teams supporters not sure if any one in Wellington other than those that play know if the club actually exists.
Don't forget that Cindy's Kitchen is open Friday Night and Saturday night from 6pm.
