Wellington Soldiers Memorial Clubs Darts Challenge Summer Competition see`s two teams clearing out in front with only a couple of wins between the next 3 teams, so it`s going to be a close finish for the top 4.
All of the Finals will be played at the Wellington Hotel and many thanks to Terry for his sponsorship of all of the Semi`s and Finals.
Mystery player last week was Garth Watts who hit a good score of 140 but it was not enough to claim the prize, so it will be 23 middies up for grabs next week.
Mystery match this week saw Nyoka Boney taking on Richard Kent with Richard coming out the winner by 4 legs to 1.
Eugene Spicer Wood Carting Pointscore top 5 after 10 rounds see`s Eugene Spicer, Garth Watts and David Wilson 21pts, Ken Sutton and Alf Wilson 20pts.
Eugene Spicer Wood Carting Most High Scores see`s David Wilson 22, Scott Dutfield 19, Garth Watts 13, Alf Wilson and Eugene Spicer 12.

Lea Sutton reign with the belt came to end last Monday night with Dave Stace finally winning the belt after 8 tries at it, Dave won by 2 legs to 1.
Previous weeks result from the match played between the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club S.S Soldiers and the Federal Hotel Thumpers saw the S.S Soldiers win by 4 games to 3.
- This match saw the Federal Hotel Thumpers looking for a big win to stay in touch with the top 4 taking on the Wellington Hotel Bulls who need a win just to build their confidence up for the Cup semi`s. The Thumpers got off to the perfect start only to see the Bulls come back and level the match in the singles. Doubles results were Graeme Kent-Steve Ebzury beat Carolyn Temessl-Kirsty Wilson 2-0 and Shane Mitchell-Colin Maguire beat Bev MacKay-Scott Reid 2-1. Singles saw Kirsty Wilson beat Colin Maguire 2-1, Tracey(how easy is this)Reid beat Shane Mitchell 2-1, Wendy Wilson lost to Steve Ebzury 1-2 and Scott Reid beat Graeme Kent 2-1. The teams game would decide the winner of the night with near misses on the double from both teams making the excitement level higher but in the end the Federal Hotel Thumpers hit the right double to take the match by 4 games to 3.
- The Federal Hotel Old Time Feddy`s who were looking for a win were going to do it tough with only 3 players were taking on the Wellington Bowling Club Cracker Jacks who would take every advantage they can get at the moment to just get a win. The Cracker Jacks won both of the doubles games with Cindy Croker-Trevor Messenger beating Nikkie and Tre Ball 2-0 and Jason Cornish-Ken Fairley beat Scott Dutfield 2-0. Singles results were Ken Fairley lost to Scott Dutfield 0-2, Jason Cornish beat Tre Ball 2-1, Trevor Messenger lost to Nikkie Ball 1-2 and Cindy Croker won on a forfeit. The Federal Hotel Old Time Feddy`s won the teams game but it wasn`t enough to get them over the line. Final result was Wellington Bowling Club Cracker Jacks 4 Old Time Feddy`s 3.
- This match saw the Central Hotel Wood Cutters who are looking more and more the team to beat in Summer competition were taking on the Wellington Hotel T.B.G`s who needed a win just to stay in touch with the top 2 teams, but the Central Hotel Wood Cutters didn`t give the Wellington Hotel T.B.G`s any hope by winning all but 1 of the games. Results were Garth Watts-Rod Hampstead beat Greg Whiteman-Dave Stace 2-1 and Eugene Spicer-Lea Sutton beat David Wilson-Nyoka Boney 2-1. Singles saw Eugene Spicer beat Greg Whiteman 2-1, Garth Watts beat Nyoka Boney 2-0, Lea Sutton lost to Dave Stace 0-2, he`s my hero and Ken Sutton beat Andrew Phillips 2-0. The final result was Central Hotel Wood Cutters 6 Wellington Hotel T.B.G`s an embarrassing 1.
- The Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club Phantoms were taking on the S.S Soldiers with the S.S Soldiers looking to upset the high flying Phantoms, but it was a task too big for the S.S Soldiers with the Phantoms taking the match by 6 games to 1. Results in the doubles were Allan and Jason Brown beat Margie Mills-Vicki Button 2-0 and Richard Kent-Alf Wilson beat Tania Button-Teena Hill 2-0. Singles wins went to Allan Brown beat Mal Nunn 2-0, Parrish Petrovic beat Philippe Bell 2-0, Alf Wilson beat Margie Mills 2-0 and Richard Kent lost to Vicki Button 1-2. Final result was Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club Phantoms 6 legs the S.S Soldiers 1.
