Dennis Moran in brilliant form leading his side to a strong victory after leading 22-18 at the break.
Spaceman second rower Brandon Toga burst through tackles handing off to Sam Dwyer and Moran linking with the pair to open their account, then full back Dwyer cut through after Moran set him up and after 10 the signs were not good for Wellington.
But a turning Ken Everson clawed the margin back.
Winger Brandon paige leaped wonderfully off a Moran cross kick on 18 minutes for 18-6.
Without the football Wellington were forced to defend grimly but eventually seized possession and Kyle West got through, Dwyer and Michael Mitchell combined next for Parkes but a rampaging Brayden Peachey ensured there would only be 4 points in it at half time.
Moran opened the second forty with another decisive run hovering outside big prop David Masoe who pushed the score out to 28-18 but Brayden Peachey's second try like his first was fast and furious. That was the end of it for Wellington really. Lock Epi Saprodo, full back Sam Dwyer, replacement Jack Medlin and Michael Mitchell all charged over for Parkes to blow the margin to 52-22 with a minute left Tjupakai Shaw scored a brilliant run away try but in the end it was the Spaceman's day 52-28.
In Reserve grade Parkes secured the win 24-8, WEllington in the under 18's 28-22 and in the women's tag match 22-14.
