There was plenty of colour on the field at the Wellington Boot. At the end of the day, judges Sharon Lenton (from Sharon Lenton Events) and Kathryn Thomson of Racing NSW said their favourite ensemble was that of Sara Jackson from Bourke.

"I have been going to the races since I was 18. It was a place where a girl can get dressed up like a lady," Ms Lenton said.
Her best tip was to pay attention to detail and make sure your hat or fascinator matched your outfit. For autumn fashion, she likes to see people wearing felt and then there is the option of transeasonal materials like leather or heavy fabric.
"Being in the country though, we are always a bit lenient," she said.
