The State Wide Sheds' Wellington Boot has attracted its best horse racing field in decades and now locals are leading the race in the fashion stakes.
Kate Lousick says the St Louis Boutique Garden Marquee on Boot day will showcase fashionistas from across the central west.
"The Marquee is getting enquiries from everywhere and will be the social showstopper on Boot day.
"We are selling our tickets at the shop on Friday and Saturday, at the racetrack Saturday and at the Calcutta on Saturday night as well as race day," Ms Lousick said.
"The tickets get you entry, a race book, high-quality canapes and unlimited bar access, and entry to the Miss Boot and Mr Boot."
The Marquee is a fashion first for the two-day carnival and race club secretary Ian Giffin says it will be the place to meet on Boot day.
See page 12 for a preview and race fields on page 8 for both days of the carnival.
