Former local Julie Anne Robertson is heading up a Wellington Reunion for the Boot weekend and a big program of events has been organised.

Ms Roberston said the reunion was inspired by the 'You Know Your from Wellington' page on Facebook.
"It is where we recall our memories of Wellington," she said.
The event will be held across the Boot weekend and below is a program of events to be held.
Saturday March 28
Early morning Rotary markets in the park
9am: Local business's open
11am: Maranatha House - Race Club Luncheon to celebrate 35 years of the Boot.
This will include games and a "Boot race with a difference" along with a thankyou buffet lunch. (Most residents participated, sponsored or had family involved in the first Wellington Boot.
There will be prizes for the Best Dressed Lady and Gent, prizes donated by the race club.
Cost TBA by Maranatha House for buffet. Family and friends welcome to book.
12pm: Wellington Race Course
Day 1 of the races, family and friends welcome to attend.
Evening: Wellington RSL Calcutta and Miss Wellington Boot and Mr Wellington Boot draw (thought after 35 years a change was in the air so we are having a Mr Boot this year).
Sunday March 29
8am: Wellington High School walk down memory lane P&F morning tea stall.
10am: Wellington St Mary's Catholic School Mass and walk down memory lane. Parish morning tea on the lawns of the convent.
12pm: The Wellington Boot Races
All weekend:
Wellington - A place your feet may leave but your heart always stays!
Cameron Park - Home town lock fence. Bring your family lock and add to the fence.
Engrave your lock or water proof texture with your family name, kids' names, parents' names. Situated at the top of the Sunken Gardens (L-shaped fence for the back of the pool).
