The Wellington High School student together with other representatives of the movement dropped by the Uniting Church on Sunday to talk about the strength of Girl Guides in Wellington.
"I am very proud of Elisabeth's achievements, very proud of my granddaughter and daughter, and also of every person at Girl Guides," Wellington Citizen of the Year Margaret Grasnick said.
"The other day we had a come-and-try day and we gained some new members. We always welcome new ones," Mrs Grasnick said.
"We are preparing for the Anzac Day march and also for a regional camp in May."
Girl Guides from Wellington took part in World Thinking Day on Saturday recalling the times of Lord Baden Powell and his sister Agnes.
