Ms Fouzas said Barbara De'ath loved Wellington and this was where her heart was.
"She died sadly of motor neurone disease and I promised her I would bring her remains here. She has inspired me to take a trip around Australia to raise awareness of the plight," she said. She bought a trailer and performance artist Sara Rowan Dahl collaborated with Ms Fouzas and her friend Hippie Broughton to design a van which promotes funding for those who are suffering from the fatal disease. Ms Fouzas has a facebook page and also an email motoringforMND@gmail.com for those who want to find out more about her journey.
