Local officers turned up to the fight to witness an axe and shovel being wielded in a violent outbreak which police say had the hallmarks of something far worse.
Local police officers were forced to separate two parties using capscium spray and arrested a 30, 22 and 20 year old man who were all charged with affray.
The trio were given conditional bail to appear before Wellington Court at a date to be fixed.
