There are local voices on Binjang 91.5 and as the radio station celebrates its birthday the youth of the community are leading the way.

Thomas and Jack Brooke are teenage presenters on the radio station and are enjoying their involvement with Wellington's community voice.
"I love playing music and talking to the community," Thomas Broome said.
"I go to St Mary's school but after it I come down to Binjang and get behind the microphone.
"My brother Jack also is a radio broadcaster so it's a real family thing.
Wellington's trainee director Mike Augee encourages more of Wellington's young people to come down and train to communicate with the community.
"We have some exciting young presenters and our latest presenter Rosie Jardine is outstanding as well. You can hear her on Sunday afternoons," he said.
Other regulars since the beginning of Binjang are Helen O'Brien who drops by on Tuesday, Cathy Donelly who can be heard on Monday afternoon, Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon.
Dale Elliot, who won an Australia Day award last year, is also a presenter the young man from Mumbil is the Saturday morning host.
Rick Bremner who has a big involvement in the community hosts various programs as Radio Rick while Mike Augee (Dr Mike) also presents.
Friday mornings Glen Porter hosts a program.
