7.30am - Meet the Ambassador Mary Ruth Mendel and breakfast with SES
8.15am - Opening of the Awards ceremony and celebrations sample bags for children and entertainment.
Binjang's birthday concert follows the ceremony.
A team of rams as Woolmark Ambassadors will be the stars of todays celebrations.
The ambassadors are actually a team of seven Merino rams which stole the show when paraded before their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they visited the 2014 Sydney Royal Show sheep pavilion.
"Fred", a six-year-old Grathlyn stud (Mudgee) bred ram leads the team which will draw the cart on which Wellington's Australia Day ambassador Mary-Ruth Mendel will officially enter the ceremony in a unique way before the local community awards presentation begins.
Not to be outdone by "Royals" and Sydney performances, "Fred" will also curtsy to Ms Mendel, a leading speech pathologist who established the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF).
In 1994 Ms Mendel created an extension of her private practice - The Sydney Literacy Centre.
