Benchmark 55 handicaps will make it a good day for the punters with a 1400m and 900m race to test holiday race goers.-

Club president Ian Darney says the meeting is traditionally the second biggest race meeting of the year and with rain forcecast the track may be a little wet underfoot but is expected to clear for the day.-
''We have a real family day planned with Nigel and Tracie popular locals singing up a storm together with the Bucking horse for the kids and water slides. It will add to the on course entertainment'' he said.-
''The meeting will take us into a January meeting followed by the two day Boot carnival at the later date of March 28, 29. So there will be plenty of excitement in the lead up to the State Wide Sheds carnival'' Mr Darney said.
