At the Maranatha Christmas Party, Len Matthews was awarded a lifetime membership in recognition of his work along with Darvel Baird, the Crofts, Elizabeth Stanford and many passionate locals back in 1978 when the first seed was sown for a community owned aged-care facility for residents.
