Work is progressing well on the new bypass for the crumbling Dripstone Bridge. It shouldn't be too long before the 10-tonne limit is lifted at Dripstone.
It's great to see some road works have occurred at Mumbil too. A portion of Aplsey Crescent has been re-sheeted and it's looking good.

I heard the local schools held their own Remembrance Day services last week.
It's great to know the students understand the importance of the day and are keeping the spirit alive.

This week sees council hit the road for its consultative meetings.
The main theme is the state government's Fit for the Future reforming of local government.
I'm hearing there will be plenty of people attending which is a great thing, for these meetings are an opportunity for everyone to have intelligent and mature conversation with council staff and councillors. I for one look forward to seeing large attendances at these meetings.
The first meeting is at Geurie tonight, Stuart Town tomorrow night, Wellington on Wednesday night, Mumbil on Thursday night then Gollan and Elong Elong next week.
All meetings start at 6pm and I would like to extend a warm invitation to you all and come along to a Wellington Council consultative meeting and work with council to help unite Wellington.
Until next week.
