An emotional end to a big year for the Wellington Cowboys best and fairest awarded to Chris Thompson who passed away earlier this year. Wellington Cowboys captain coach Justin Toomey White received a number of awards along with Richard Peckham, Aidan Ryan, Chris Jones, James Fabar and others. Chris Thompson was given a standing ovation by the crowd when his award was announced.
