Pool season begins tomorrow and while numbers were up last year, pool manager Mick Austin is predicting it will be even busier if the hot weather keeps up.

"We've seen an increase and I think it is because people are getting more into fitness," he said.
"Swimming is great for asthmatics -even if you are just standing with the water up to your neck it exercises your lungs. Swimming is aerobic exercise too."
The Diggers begins on November 11 and the local swimming club begin next week and the pool is open 7 days a week with the morning session from 6am to 7.30am and days from 9am-7pm.
All children must be accompanied by someone over 16.
- Admission for adults is $5, children, non-swimming patrons and pensioners pay $2.50.
- A season ticket for a family is $208.30, an adult is $125.10 and pensioners pay $74.
- Otherwise you can buy a book of 10 tickets for $37.20 or $18.10 for children.
